Redefining Greatness: Why Surrendering Is Better Than You Think
Happy Easter and welcome to Grace Chapel! We often thing of surrender as “failing” or “giving up” to a superior power. We see it as being weak on our part as something or someone else dominates us. But what if we thought of it differently? What if we saw surrender the way Christ did? There is power to abandoning our life to Christ and it is only then that we will find true purpose.

Surrender leaves JUDGEMENT up to the Father. (vs. 47-50)
Faith in Jesus is engaging with the deepest joy of Heaven and knowing God’s unfathomable love for me.
Walking in the light of Christ is leaving the darkness of evil and ignorance and entering into all-knowledge of God and His purposes.
In our death, God meets us as Judge.
⦁ In Christ’s death, He replaces our verdict with eternal life.
⦁ Seeking temporary comfort will never lead to total commitment.
