River Youth Lock-In
On Friday, March 16 The River Youth will be having their annual Lock-In. This event is for all students in 6th-12th grade and their friends. We will start the night at The River Church from 8:00pm until Midnight before heading to The Web for all you can play laser tag, go karts, putt putt, bowling and more! The cost is $30 which covers admission to the Web. We want as many students to join us as possible. CIY Believe Conference
We are inviting every student in 6th-8th grade and their friends to join us once again in going to Christ in Youth’s Believe conference on April 7-8 at Anderson University in Anderson, IN. This high energy, worship filled conference is specifically designed for Jr High students. Your student will not just get some amazing worship and teaching, but will also have an amazing time as well. The cost is $90 which includes admission to CIY Believe, transportation, as well as an overnight stay in a hotel. On Sunday, March 18 at 4:00pm a meeting will be held to vote on an amendment to The River Church constitution.
New Women's Study: Stepping Up
Join us for a journey through the Psalms of ascent with Beth Moore. Psalms 120-134 model how we can voice our own petitions and praises to God. Themes of unity, joy, gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. This new women's study meets Tuesday mornings or evenings (choose the time that is best for you), March 13 - May 1 (no group on March 27) and meets from 9:30am-11:30am or 6:30pm-8:30pm each Tuesday. Guatemala Spirit Night
Make sure to get out and support the Guatemala team at the VOA Chick-fil-a on Thursday, March 8 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Mention this fundraiser when ordering your food and they will donate 15% of your order to the team. Address is 7733 Voice of America Park Dr., West Chester OH 45069.
Egg Drop Volunteers Needed
This year’s Helicopter Egg Drop is Saturday, March 24! There are many ways you can help.
Volunteer: by signing up at a kiosk by the fireplace or online at https://hittheriver.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/110434. There are many areas where you can serve from baking cupcakes, to face painting, parking, and more!
Fill eggs with candy: take home pre-bagged empty eggs (located near worship center) and fill with wrapped candy. Please return eggs by Sunday March 18.

Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed on March 10th so you don’t miss anything at church on Sunday morning.
Baptisms Easter Sunday
We are celebrating baptisms on Easter Sunday, April 1. If you would like to be baptized, let us know on the connection card. Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal.
