<b>New Kind Of Groups!</b><br>Connect with others who share similar interests in a fun and inviting way! Make new friends at The River while creating natural environments to engage those not yet connected to The River. Affinity Groups can form the basis of long-lasting friendships and community that point you and others to Jesus.<br><br>We have some groups that are ready to start. The groups we have starting up are <b>card/board games, running, crafting, and scrapbooking</b>. Sign up on your connection card or email Todd at todd@HitTheRiver.com to sign-up.<br><br><b>Kids Night Out</b><br>Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Parents go out on a Valentine’s date on Friday, February 16 from 5:30pm-8:00pm and leave your cherub(s) with us. We will have pizza for dinner, decorate Valentine’s cookies, play games, and work on a special outreach project to show God’s love to others. The cost is $10 for your first child and $5 for each additional sibling. All proceeds go to The River Youth mission trip to Minnesota. We welcome all kids to join us who are preschool (potty trained and 3 year old) - 5th grade. They will be leaving from The River’s building at 3:30pm for the concert and will be back at 11:00pm that evening. Artists include Kari Jobe, New Song, Building 429, Skillet, comedian John Crist and more. Cost is $15 at the door. Make sure to bring cash to the event. This event is open to students and their families. Compass is a group for anyone ages 18 to 30. For more information contact Lindsey Hilty at (513) 371-3566.<br><br><b>Haiti Supplies Needed</b><br>Our team of six is headed to Haiti in just a few short weeks. If you would like to help them with supplies, grab a tag from the mission wall and shop OR you can donate by cash or check and put it in the box by the mission wall. All monies collected will be used in Haiti to purchase supplies, fund projects, and will support the Haitian economy.<br><br><b>Sharing God’s Love</b><br>RiverBank Kids will be collecting items to make care bags for the homeless to share God’s love for Valentine’s. Donations can be dropped off at the RiverBank Kids check in area. The bags will be assembled by the kids at Kid’s Night Out on Friday, February 16. Please consider donating any of the following items to put in our bags: unisex gloves, chapstick, lotion (small), hand warmers, granola bars, or small packs of tissues.<br><br><b>River Youth Parents Meeting</b><br>Our Student Ministry is having a meeting for all parents of students who are in 6th-12th grade on February 18 at 4:00 pm. We will be talking about upcoming series, events, and opportunities for your student to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ in the next couple of months. If you have any questions, contact Zach at zach@HitTheRiver.com.<br><br><b>CIY Believe Conference</b><br>We are inviting every student in 6th-8th grade and their friends to join us once again in going to Christ in Youth’s Believe conference on April 7-8 at Anderson University in Anderson, IN. This high energy, worship filled conference is specifically designed for Jr High students. Your student will not just get some amazing worship and teaching, but will also have an amazing time as well. The cost is $90 which includes admission to CIY Believe, transportation, as well as an overnight stay in a hotel. We would like to open the trip back up for anyone who is interested. If you are interested please contact Margaret Bush ASAP at marg.bush@gmail.com or 513-235-9116.<br><br><b>Congregation Meeting</b><br>On Sunday, March 18 at 4:00pm a meeting will be held to vote on an amendment to The River Church constitution.<br><br><b>New Women's Study: Stepping Up </b><br>Join us for a journey through the Psalms of ascent with Beth Moore. Psalms 120-134 model how we can voice our own petitions and praises to God. Themes of unity, joy, gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Christ followers can learn from these treasured Psalms in their growing relationship with Jesus.<br><br>Join us for this new women's study starting Tuesday mornings or evenings (choose the time that is best for you), March 13 - May 1 (no group on March 27) and meets from 9:30am-11:30am or 6:30pm-8:30pm each Tuesday. We also have an option to join online with a private Facebook group as well, just choose the "ONLINE" option in your registration. Email your prayer request to prayer@HitTheRiver.com. <br><br><b>Angels Among Us</b><br>There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal.
