Prayer & Worship Night
Join us for a time of prayer & worship on Wednesday, February 7 from 7:00pm-8:00pm. This will be a great time to gather together after concluding the Daniel Fast to spend some time together praying and worshiping.
New Kind Of Groups!
Connect with others who share similar interests in a fun and inviting way! Make new friends at The River while creating natural environments to engage those not yet connected to The River. Affinity Groups can form the basis of long-lasting friendships and community that point you and others to Jesus.
Want to start your own group?
You can apply to become a sponsor for a new Affinity Group! There are just a couple expectations for group sponsors:
• Be connected and committed to The River
• Represent Christ and The River well
• Serve under the direction and authority of The River's staff

Men’s Community Group
A new Men’s Study by Patrick Morley titled “How God Makes Men” led by Joe Ethier started up on Thursday, January 18, but you can still join. The group will be meeting the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:00pm here at The River’s building. This study, goes through the stories of 10 pillars of our faith demonstrating God’s ability to use anyone willing to answer His Call. We trust you’ll find this study helpful in growing your relationship with Jesus and will help you learn how God can use ANYONE to further His Kingdom. Kids Night Out
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Parents go out on a Valentine’s date on Friday, February 16 from 5:30pm-8:00pm and leave your cherub(s) with us. We will have pizza for dinner, decorate Valentine’s cookies, play games, and work on a special outreach project to show God’s love to others. The cost is $10 for your first child and $5 for each additional sibling. All proceeds go to The River Youth mission trip to Minnesota. We welcome all kids to join us who are preschool (potty trained and 3 year old) - 5th grade. Haiti Supplies Needed
Our team of six is headed to Haiti in just a few short weeks. If you would like to help them with supplies, grab a tag from the mission wall and shop OR you can donate by cash or check and put it in the box by the mission wall. All monies collected will be used in Haiti to purchase supplies, fund projects, and will support the Haitian economy.
Sharing God’s Love
RiverBank Kids will be collecting items to make care bags for the homeless to share God’s love for Valentine’s. Donations can be dropped off at the RiverBank Kids check in area. The bags will be assembled by the kids at Kid’s Night Out on Friday, February 16. Please consider donating any of the following items to put in our bags: unisex gloves, chapstick, lotion (small), hand warmers, granola bars, or small packs of tissues.
Winter Jam
The River Youth are heading to the Winter Jam Tour Spectacular on Saturday, February 17. They will be leaving from The River’s building at 3:30pm for the concert and will be back at 11:00pm that evening. Artists include Kari Jobe, New Song, Building 429, Skillet, comedian John Crist and more. Cost is $15 at the door. Make sure to bring cash to the event. Compass Fellowship
Bring your favorite pizza topping for a pizza making party at 5:00 pm Saturday, February 17 at the Hilty house. Compass is a group for anyone ages 18 to 30. For more information contact Lindsey Hilty at (513) 371-3566.
River Youth Parents Meeting
Our Student Ministry is having a meeting for all parents of students who are in 6th-12th grade on February 18 at 4:00 pm. We will be talking about upcoming series, events, and opportunities for your student to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ in the next couple of months. CIY Believe Conference
We are inviting every student in 6th-8th grade and their friends to join us once again in going to Christ in Youth’s Believe conference on April 7-8 at Anderson University in Anderson, IN. This high energy, worship filled conference is specifically designed for Jr High students. Your student will not just get some amazing worship and teaching, but will also have an amazing time as well. The cost is $90 which includes admission to CIY Believe, transportation, as well as an overnight stay in a hotel. Guatemala Mission Trip

Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal.
