NB-Tween Girls Study
This small group will be starting on Sunday, January 7 from 9:45am-10:45am for girls (ages 9-13). The group will be led by Margaret Layman and Amy Sanders. Women’s Study: Kingdom Woman
Prepared To Be Empowered! You’re invited to join other women—married and single— in a new 7-week group study that will unleash new power, possibilities, and purpose in your life. With video teaching by Dr. Tony Evans and Chrystal Evans Hurst, learn how to align yourself firmly under the authority of God. Even more, be affirmed in your identity as a daughter of Christ each and every day. The study starts Tuesday, January 9, 2018. There are two times available on Tuesday to meet: 9:30-11:30am or 6:30-8:30pm

Play The Man For Dads
Somewhere along the way, our culture lost its definition of manhood, leaving generations of men and men-to-be, confused about their roles, responsibilities, relationships, and the reason God made them men. We are inviting all men (even teens) to join us on Saturday, January 13 at 9:00am to listen to Mark Batterson talk about how we can navigate this “no-man’s-land” and learn how dads can better play the man for our kids and raise our sons to play the man. Sunday Morning Community - Ephesians Study
Though attempting to live a transformed life by the power of the Holy Spirit, the church in Ephesus was immersed in an evil culture and surrounded by sin and pagan ways. Discouraged believers needed a reminder of God’s grace and love, of the blessings they had in Jesus Christ, and of their commitment to holiness. Join one of our Sunday morning communities at 9:45am or 11:15am starting January 14 as they study through the book of Ephesians.
Daniel Fast
Starting Sunday, January 14 we are challenging our River Church Family to fast for either 7, 14, or 21 days. We are using this time to deepen our relationship with God and center ourselves around what God is going to do in our church and in our lives during this time.
During the fast, we will eliminate some common things from our daily diet. The diet is vegan based, eliminates caffeine, sugar, and artificial additives. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal.
