The third Sunday of Advent reflects the theme of joy. Joy is the confident assurance that Our Eternal God is in control. Joy is sustained through the intentional consistent acknowledgement of Him in every situation

God presents “joy” in contrast to other alternatives. (v.1-5)

God promises a different kind of result. (v.6-7)
