The BIG GIVE
THE BIG GIVE is one of the ways that SCBC desires to “Be a Blessing to All Peoples”. For a number of years during Christmas, we as a church have chosen to share God’s blessings on us with others.
This Christmas you’re invited to be part of THE BIG GIVE as we partner with three ministries to focus on “freedom”. Jesus declared in Luke 4:18-19. Through your generous financial gift, we will help….
* Lahu Village to build a church in Myanmar (freedom to worship)
* Rahab Ministries to restore lives of children and women caught in the sex trade (freedom from bondage)
* Village Eulogia to assist families with children with special needs (freedom to learn and grow)
Worship fully, spend less, give more, love all. See how your giving can help…
Let’s continue to do Christmas differently this year by being a part of THE BIG GIVE. You can use the marked envelopes available in the pews or give online through PayPal.

Praise and Thanksgiving
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your kindness, and sending Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ came to earth for us, to live among us, to bring the Father's abundant grace and unchanging truth, so that we all receive them, and that our sins are cleansed.
God’s Church
Please remember brothers & sisters who are getting baptized next Sunday. May God help them know the Truth well, strengthen their faith, trust and obey to the leading of the Holy Spirit, overcome temptation from the evil one with the power of God, keep them growing in His love.
Global Need
God is deeply concerned for the poor and is constantly calling his people to have compassion for those who are in need. "There are 1.02 billion undernourished people in the world today. That means one in nearly six people do not get enough food to be healthy and lead an active life.” Please pray for world hunger and that God would move in our hearts to help.
Mission Prayer
Pray for SCBC Mission Department Committee to be able to discern God’s will for our church in mission work. Pray that God will speak to His people, draw more new members who are willing to commit to serving in this ministry. May God make our church a missional church, be a blessing to all nations.
