<b>265 Boxes!</b><br>Thank you for your overwhelming generosity. We blew our goal of 140 boxes out of the water with 265 boxes. Because of you, pastors and community leaders across the world will share with 265 more children the message of the gospel and the wonderful boxes you put together.<br><br><b>Want to Start Christmas Shopping?</b><br>Visit our Spark House Family book fair located next to RiverBank Kids check-in area starting today through December 3. There are several display books and a long list of other wonderful Christian titles. At the end of the book fair the display books will be given to our kid’s ministry and The River gets to keep 20% of the amount sold to support our Haiti mission team.<br><br><b>AHG $1 Candy Bar Fundraiser</b><br>Our ministry partner, American Heritage Girls Troop OH0412, is selling candy bars for $1 each in the café area today. If you would like more information about the troop, please check out the troop website: http://www.ahg-oh0412.com.<br><br><b>Christmas Decorating</b><br>It’s that time of year again to deck the halls of The River Church. Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 30 for the hours between 10:00am-1:00pm when we will be decorating the church for Christmas. We will have donuts and coffee to get you started and lunch will be provided. Kids are welcome to join their parents. Let us know if you would like to help by emailing the office at info@HitTheRiver.com<br><br><b>Kids Night Out</b><br>RiverBank Kids will hold our first Kids Night Out on Friday, December 1 from 5:30pm-8:30pm here at church. This event is for kids 3 years (and potty trained) to 5th grade. Parents will need to register children ahead of time. We will play games, eat pizza, make gingerbread houses, and watch a Christmas movie. The cost is $10 for the first child and $5 for each additional sibling. All of the proceeds will go to support our missions team. If you are interested in singing with us, please contact kim@HitTheRiver.com and include your preferred vocal part.<br><br><b>Christmas Eve Services</b><br>We would love to have you and your family as our guest for one of our Christmas Eve morning services at 9:45am, 11:15am, or 1:30pm. There will be NO evening services so you can spend with family.<br><br><b>Angel Tree</b><br>As part of our continued outreach to those in need. The River Church is helping provide Christmas for families through Interfaith Hospitality. The Angel Tree will be located in the cafe and available on Sunday, November 26. <br><br>To help a local family with gifts, select one or more tags off the tree . Write on the check list which tags you chose, so we know who has each child/family.<br><br>Your purchased gift should be wrapped and have two name tags: a permanent one with the recipient’s name and the original tag. Place the gift(s) under the Angel Tree by Sunday, December 17. No need to wrap these items. Items donated will be divided amongst the families. Any of these items would be greatly appreciated. Tickets are $11 which include travel to and from the Zoo and admission into the Zoo. We hope your student will join us! It’s going to be an amazing time. Email your prayer request to prayer@HitTheRiver.com. <br><br><b>The Impact of Prayer</b><br>You have a direct impact on the lives of others through prayer. By joining the prayer chain you will be able to help others who are in need that may or may not have someone in their life to pray for them.<br><br>When you join the prayernet, you will receive emails with requests for prayer. At this time we average two requests per week. All you need to do is pray for that person in your own personal way. “And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for. 1 John 5:15.” If you would like to join, please email prayer@HitTheRiver.com and let us know you are interested in joining.<br><br><b>Angels Among Us</b><br>There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal.
