Dion Walden Bio
Expand
Dion Walden is a passionate woman of God who serves as an elder at the Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church in Plantation, FL. Elder Walden is a dynamic speaker and prolific writer who is passionately committed to the expository teaching and preaching of the word of God. Her purpose statement is to be a “Kingdom Woman Difference Maker.” Her desire is to see people radically experience the power of God’s word and be transformed by the Holy Spirit.

Dion is a dedicated family woman, married to Joseph Walden, they have one son. She loves to explore new learnings, people watch, and take nature walks. She currently works in the pharmaceutical industry as a Senior Marketing Manager and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Theme: Some people today are experiencing an identity crisis because they don’t fully understand what Christ did for them on the cross. They struggle to tap into their God-given purpose and go through life settling for the mundane and ordinary things, never reaching their full potential.

In 2 Corinthian 5:17, by uniting with Christ in His death and resurrection, we no longer live under the bondage of sin but are now adopted into the family of God as sons and daughters. Being reborn, we now live in our new identity in Christ,
knowing who we are,
whose we are, and
why we are here --
our purpose.
Who We are

To understand who we are, we must experience a mind makeover. Our thought life must be renewed. We need a mind makeover to see the things God ordained us to see. We need a mind makeover to hear the things God ordained us to hear. We need a mind makeover to do things God calls us to do. We are instructed to not conform to the pattern of the world...(Romans 12:2).
Whose We Are

We belong to the Creator of the universe. Who spoke and His words gave birth to the universe. He is the “I AM WHO I AM.” (Exodus 3:14). He is the God who dwells in eternity who holds our yesterdays and tomorrows. He is our Redeemer, Savior, Defender, Sustainer, Healer, and Shepherd. He is the Alpha and Omega.
Why We Are Here

We were created to serve our generation with our gifting, talents, intelligences, resources etc. We were called not live in silos or to build hollow monuments for ourselves. We are called for such a time as this (Esther 4:14), to be a difference maker, a champion of hope, the voice for injustice, and defender of the truth. We are gifted to undertake new exploits, new discoveries, new inventions, to break down barriers and
create new realms of possibilities.
Call to Action

• Who is defining who you are?
• What can you do to shift your thoughts to accept what Christ did for you?
• Are you preparing yourself to step into your purpose?
