See what great love the Father has lavished on us,
that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!

With one voice and one heart we will sing the praises of our Father and King.

Brothers and sisters,
let us lift our voice in songs of praise,
for He has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Father, how often we accept the world’s invitationto a banquet in the grave that seems to satisfy in the moment,but soon turns to ash. Our rebellious hearts continually cause us to set our focus on the things of this world instead of the glorious things above.Help us to trust Your gospel. Help us to see past the lie.

Lord, we confess that we allow the things of this worldto pull our minds away from the things above.
We confess that we seek our own comfort over heeding Your call to follow.
We place our priorities over Your Kingdom.
We look for the approval and affirmation of others over the identity we were given by You, our Creator.

We thank You that even in our weakness and failure, Your grace allows us to find refuge in Your Everlasting Arms. We thank you for the finished work of Christ that gives us the power to follow after Youand to delight in the abundant life that comes only from You.
