Welcome to Crossroads!

The Crossroads Christian Church family is made up of people from many different backgrounds but we all have one thing in common: we love God and He is at the center of all we do! We believe the Bible is God’s infallible holy Word, inspired by the Holy Spirit and we enjoy coming together to hear His Word and sing praises to Him. Our doors are open to everyone, whether you’ve been attending church your whole life or this is your first time. At Crossroads, you are invited to come however you are. No need to pretend or put on special clothes, we have a casual environment with open arms for everyone. We hope that you will feel uplifted and encouraged to worship however the Holy Spirit leads you…whether it’s standing with your arms raised, clapping along with the music or sitting and spending time in prayer, we want you to be comfortable as you worship and praise God. We’re glad to have you with us this morning. Be sure to join us for donuts and coffee between services!

Every other month we host a Closer Look Class where you can learn more about Crossroads’ beliefs and philosophy, how it got started and its plans for the future. Childcare and lunch will be provided. You can sign up online (About Us > Closer Look Class) or on the Connection Card as the date gets closer.

For Parents:

· A cry room (The Living Room) is available next to the main bathrooms for parents with young children. You can watch a live stream of the service in this room at 9:15 and 11 a.m. (A private room for nursing moms is located in our toddler nursery.)

· We offer a nursery for infants and toddlers and children’s programming for kids 3 years through 5th grade during our 9:15 and 11 a.m. services. Students in grades 6-12 have their own worship service upstairs in the Loft at 11 a.m.

PrimeTime| 6:30 (dinner) Event 7 p.m. | Gym | Oct. 04

We will be packaging food for Lifeline. Our current plan is for 100 volunteers to pack for one hour which will produce 22,000 meals. Once the first hour is scheduled we will open it up to have a second hour of meal packing to produce even more meals. No limit on volunteers, any age. Please be sure to register online for volunteering and also separately RSVP for dinner.

All ladies are welcome to come out to enjoy some conversation and homestyle lunch.

Mens Fellowship Group | 8 a.m. | Room 144 | Oct. 07

This group is for all men who desire a closer and more intimate walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our monthly meetings provide us the time to share a meal and life-application devotion. In addition, the goal is to strengthen our brotherhood beyond the set meeting date

Blood Drive | 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. | Oct. 22

We need your blood! This month Crossroads will be hosting another blood drive with Community Blood Center. Help us as we support them in their efforts to provide much needed blood for area hospitals and for patients in areas that have been affected by the recent hurricanes. Trunk or Treat | 5-7pm | Oct 28

Do you like to have fun? Of course you do! So invite your friends,

family, neighbors, even your mailman and join us for Trunk or Treat!

There will be lots of candy, S'mores, inflatables, and food trucks with a

variety of delicious eats! The Outreach Team is hosting this event but

we cannot do it alone. We need lots of people to decorate their trunks

and/or donate allergy-friendly candy & treats to help make this a fun

event as well as a blessing to the community. Sign up online or stop

Crossroads now has access to an extensive, new video library called RightNow Media! It’s like the "Netflix of Video Bible Studies" and has a HUGE library of faith-based videos that you can access whenever and wherever you want—on your phone, iPad, computer, or at home on your TV. Children's Wednesday Program

Our New Wednesday Road Trip afterschool program will begin on September 13. We will also be adding programming for all kids birth through 5th grade and a Mom’s Bible study called “Mom’s Connect.” The time will remain the same 4:30-6:00 on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday of every month.

There is a suggested donation of $15 per individual, if you serve with the youth group, that donation will be paid by the SM@C fund. Hope to see you there. Sr. High Mid-winter Retreat:| Nov 3-4

Join us for a fun filled weekend retreat on the camps of Ozark Christian College. Good speaker, great music, great fun. Registration is $30 if you sign up by October 18th Plus you will get a free t-shirt. Registration is $35 if you sign up between October 19th and October 29th but you are not guaranteed a t-shirt. School's Out Outing | Oct. 13 1-6 pm

Louisburg Cider Mill This is for both Jr./Sr. High students.

Since school is out, we just thought we could try to do something together. We will meet at the church at 12:30p (eat before you arrive). We will travel down to the Louisberg Cidar Mill and go through the corn maze that they have. We will spend a couple of hours at the cider mill before heading home. On the way home we will stop at Freddies for a sweet snack.

Cost: You will need $10 for the corn maze. You will also need money for ice cream and If you want to by any cider drinks from the Louisburg Cider Market.

Students will be available for pick up at around 4:30P at the church. You do not need to pay anything in advance…but you do need to RSVP online so that we can arrange transportation.
