Divine Design: The Disciple's Denial
Following Jesus first requires denial. If you live in denial what does that look like. When someone is emotionally unhealthy they deny reality and attempt to live a fantasy. What exactly is Jesus calling disciples to?

Denial: Accept the opposite of destruction.
The Heart of Sin is selfishness.
What person alive today is absent of sin?
Who can fix it? NO ONE!
Accept: Do only that which is selfless.
Where do you find a truly selfless motivated purpose or plan?
The Will of the Father
Accept: Do only in the selfless way.
How is not popular but it is necessary.
How we share the truth?
How you take out the trash?
How you serve someone is as important as that you serve them?
Jesus wasn't Robin Hood.

The Disciple's Denial?
How to respond to Him:
Dear Lord Jesus, I confess I have been living my life by my own will and way. I confess that my only hope is in You, Jesus, because You died for my sin, was buried and rose from the dead. Now I turn from my dependence on what I know from the way I have lived and trust in You and your teaching to do the Father's will to truly live life that is only found in You. Thank you for loving me. In Jesus name, Amen
