Confess – “…to declare openly.”

Our “Homologia” – Same + Word – what we confess
We confess with our mouths what we believe in our heart
We believe in our heart by revelation and by choice
We have in our heart what we have heard with our ears
We Need Preachers in our lives
The Importance of a Heart That Says, “AMEN!”
There are truths in the Bible that form the foundation of our faith that we ought to hold in common - They are the points on which everything else hangs
Hymnal Creeds of the New Testament - short condensed declarations of truth contained in the New Testament that were likely set as poetry or songs to remember the important truths of the faith
Jesus is Lord / God raised Him from the dead, / The same Lord is Lord of all, / "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
God’s Son, was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh,
Jesus was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness,
Jesus Christ is our Lord
We Need to Come and Partake / We Show the Lord’s death Till He Comes
We Need to Examine Ourselves
Christ Died for Our Sins, He was Buried and He was Raised!
The Doctrine of Christ

Colossians 1:15-20 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
He is the image of the invisible God, it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, the firstborn of all creation.

by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities all things have been created through Him and for Him.

He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

He is head of the body, the church;

He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

Through Him the Father reconciles all things to Himself, through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
