Serve the Homeless
The River Church partners with Interfaith Hospitality Network four times each year to care for local homeless families in need of food and lodging. An adult volunteer, or group of volunteers, is needed to prepare/compile an Italian meal to serve on a Friday night, spend the night at Our Lady of Sorrows church in Monroe with the families, and prepare and serve a hot breakfast before the families leave on Saturday morning. Camp Lebanon
June 19-23 is Camp 9Twelve and June 26-30 is Camp 6Eight. Join us for our yearly week at Camp! This year’s theme is Awaken the Wonder and will explore how we can awaken God to be a bigger part of our lives. Fun and games will also happen. Serve City Outreach
The River Church is scheduled to serve Saturday, June 24, from 9:45am-noon at Serve City in Hamilton. All you need to do is arrive at 9:45am and you will be shown how you can help. Serve City is a food pantry that reaches out to needy families in our area. They are located at 622 East Avenue, Hamilton.

Youth Bonfire
Mark and Jillane Holland are opening up their home for a bonfire on Sunday, June 25 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Come out, roast some hotdogs and smore’s, and enjoy time with friends.

Linkinatti - Supporting Edge Teen Center
Golf tournament on Friday, July 14 at the City of Mason Golf Center. For non golfers there is a catered dinner and after-party with cash bar. See the flyer on the credenza for more details or go online to https://edgeteencenter.com/golf-outing

Women’s Mentoring Program
This Fall, The River is beginning a mentoring program for women. We are beginning today to gauge interest and would love to hear from you! If you are interested, please fill out the pink form located on the credenza and turn it in to the offering bucket or guest center.

Father’s Day - No Youth Group
The River Youth will not be meeting for Youth Group on Sunday, June 18 because of Father’s Day. Have fun at the Outdoor Service and enjoy the rest of the day with your family.

Haiti Info Meeting
Imagine if you could do something much bigger than yourself. Imagine visiting another culture, making an impact and coming back changed.

Whether you are intrigued by a foreign mission trip or you feel a tug in your heart to make a difference for Christ overseas, we want to invite you to come and hear what it would look like to visit Haiti with us. You will hear from the heart of those who have already had their lives changed and get practical information to answer any questions you may have. We will provide light snacks and drinks as well!

River 101
