God Never Said That: God Wants You Happy
Happiness is based on the combination of your “happenings” (circumstances), your possessions and your emotions. Every single one of those is in a constant state of change, which is why your “happiness” always seems to be so short-lived. God never said He wants you to be happy. He knows that happiness is shallow and temporary. He wants SO MUCH MORE for you. There literally is no comparison. The price you will have to pay for temporary, shallow happiness is more than you can afford. The price God has already paid for you to be blessed is more than you can fathom. Don’t base your life on something God never said.

2) When it's based on the things of this world.
Jesus tells us to do the above three things. He says we must put to death our own plans and desires, and then turn our lives over to Him and do His will every day. Do you do this? What gives you certainty that you really do this? Think about that 💭 and then make sure you can answer the question.
