THIS IS AMAZING GRACE
Who breaks the power of sin and darkness?
Whose love is mighty and so much stronger?
The King of Glory; the King above all kings.
Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder?
Who leaves us breathless in awe and wonder?
The King of Glory; the King above all kings.
This is Amazing Grace, this is unfailing love;
That You would take my place, that You would bear my cross.
You would lay down Your life that I would be set free.
Jesus, I sing for all that You’ve done for me.
Who brings our chaos back into order?
Who makes the orphan a son or daughter?
The King of Glory; the King above all kings.
Who rules the nations with truth and justice;
Shines like the sun in all of its brilliance?
The King of Glory; the King above all kings.
This is Amazing Grace, this is unfailing love;
That You would take my place, that You would bear my cross.
You would lay down Your life that I would be set free.
Jesus, I sing for all that You’ve done for me.
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave.
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave.
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave.
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain;
Worthy, worthy, worthy!

OCEANS (WHERE FEET MAY FAIL)
You call me out upon the waters,
the great unknown where feet may fail.
And there I find You in the myst’ry,
in oceans deep, my faith will stand.
And I will call upon Your name and keep my eyes above the waves.
When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace
for I am Yours and You are mine.
Your grace abounds in deepest waters,
Your sov’reign hand will be my guide.
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me,
You’ve never failed and You won’t start now.
And I will call upon Your name and keep my eyes above the waves.
When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace
for I am Yours and You are mine.
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders,
Let me walk upon the waters wherever You would call me.
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Savior.
And I will call upon Your name, and keep my eyes above the waves.
My soul will rest in Your embrace for I am Yours and You are mine.
the great unknown where feet may fail.
And there I find You in the myst’ry,

YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL
I see Your face in ev’ry sunrise,
the colors of the morning are inside Your eyes.
The world awakens in the light of day,
I look up to the sky and say, “You’re beautiful.”
Ooo Ooo Ooo Ooo
I see Your face, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful.
Ooo Ooo
I see Your face, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful.
I see Your face, I see Your face.
I see Your face, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful.
I see Your pow’r in the moonlit night,
where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright.
We are amazed in the light of the stars,
it’s all proclaiming who You are: You’re beautiful.
I see You there hanging on a tree;
You bled and then You died and then You rose again for me.
Now You are sitting on Your heavenly throne,
soon we will be coming home. You’re beautiful.
When we arrive at eternity’s shore, where death is just a memory and tears are no more,
We’ll enter in as the wedding bells ring,
Your bride will come together and we’ll sing, “You’re beautiful.”
the colors of the morning are inside Your eyes.
The world awakens in the light of day,
I look up to the sky and say, “You’re beautiful.”

GOD IS LOVE: EVIDENCE OF GENUINE FAITH
Introduction
"Just Do It!" Commercial
EXCERPT FROM SCRIPT:
If people say your dreams are crazy… if they laugh at what they think you can do… good… stay that way.
Because what non-believers fail to understand is that calling a dream crazy is not an insult. It’s a compliment.
Don’t try to be the fastest runner in your school or the fastest runner in the world. Be the fastest ever…
Don’t settle for homecoming queen or linebacker. Do both.
Lose 120 pounds and become an Ironman… after beating a brain tumor.
Don’t believe you have to be like anybody… to be somebody.
If you’re born a refugee, don’t let it stop you from playing soccer… for the national team… at age 16…
If you have only one hand, don’t just watch football… play it at the highest level…
So don’t ask if your dreams are crazy. Ask if you’re crazy enough.

1. We prove our faith to be genuine by our love for God.
- This is not a new concept here in the book of First John. Over and over again, we have seen God’s love for us and our love for Him. (1 John 4:10,16,19)
- True love for God and one another is proof of the authenticity of our faith.
- God wants every believer to know that they have genuine faith! (John 20:31; 1 John 5:13)

2. We prove our faith to be genuine by our obedience to God’s commands.
- Faith that is not accompanied by obedience to God is suspect. (James 2:14-17)
- Good works are not a means to salvation, but good works are the result of salvation! (Ephesians 2:8-10)

3. Love and obedience are one and the same—and obedience is not too much for us to bear.
- Love of God is obedience—obedience is love of God. (John 14:15; 2 John 6)
- Obedience to His commands is not too much for God to ask of us.

- The gift of salvation is not meant to only bring victory in eternity—it is intended to bring victory in this life, in the here and now! (John 10:10)
4. Genuine faith—demonstrated through love and obedience—brings victorious living.
- Notice John’s emphasis on being victorious in verses 4-5.

- These verses clearly teach that only those who believe are overcomers.
CONCLUSION
If we are not living a victorious life, it is because we have chosen to not claim the victory that is ours through the power of the Holy Spirit. We are choosing to fail. We are choosing to lose.

Are you hurting and broken within,
Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin?
Jesus is calling.
Have you come to the end of yourself?
Do you thirst for a drink from the well?
Jesus is calling.
O come to the altar, the Father’s arms are open wide.
Forgiveness was bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Leave behind your regrets and mistakes.
Come today, there’s no reason to wait.
Jesus is calling.
Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy,
From the ashes A new life is born.
Jesus is calling.
O come to the altar, the Father’s arms are open wide.
Forgiveness was bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
O come to the altar, the Father’s arms are open wide.
Forgiveness was bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
O what a Savior. Isn’t He wonderful?
Sing, “Alleluia, Christ is risen!”
Bow down before Him, for He is Lord of all.
Sing, “Alleluia, Christ is risen!”
O come to the altar, the Father’s arms are open wide.
Forgiveness was bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
O come to the altar, the Father’s arms are open wide.
Forgiveness was bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Bear your cross as you wait for the crown.
Tell the world of the treasure you’ve found.
