AGREEMENT...ALIGNMENT...ASSIGNMENT
When we come into agreement with God then we are aligned with His perfect will here on earth, as it already is in heaven. Then when we are aligned with heaven, we find that God can use us in ways we never thought possible. That is when we begin to walk in our assignment – which is the ultimate purpose God created us to fulfill.

AGREEMENT
For us to truly see God’s purpose for our lives fulfilled, we must first come into agreement that it is His will we want established…not our own. Seeing God’s kingdom come first requires AGREEMENT on our part. Look again at the first few words of the Lord’s Prayer:

AGREEMENT
These first few words declare that He is Holy and He is Righteous.
We cannot begin to see God’s Kingdom come until we are in complete AGREEMENT with His Lordship.
Being in AGREEMENT with God has to be an attitude of the heart. When we find ourselves in that place of total AGREEMENT with Him…that is where we find true joy and peace and fulfillment in our daily lives!
First, we need to come into AGREEMENT with God about the Lordship of Christ. Then, His Kingdom can be established in our lives. This is the point where we begin walking in ALIGNMENT with God.

ALIGNMENT
In heaven God’s rule and reign are always perfectly established. But to see it demonstrated on earth, we must allow Him to align with His will as it is in heaven.
ALIGNMENT by God is the place where He begins to put things in order so that His Kingdom can come into our lives. ALIGNMENT is the place where we are positioned by coming into agreement with God. In order to come into full ALIGNMENT with God…we must fast and pray. Jesus pointed this out in the 17th Chapter of Matthew.
At the beginning of the chapter, Jesus took Peter, James and John with Him up on the Mount of Transfiguration. But Jesus didn’t allow them to stay there in the glory. Jesus moved them back down the mountain, because there was someone in need at the bottom.
Now the man they encountered was a father in need of a breakthrough for his family.

When the disciples pressed Jesus privately for an answer as to why they were unable to cast out the demon. Jesus told them that is was because of their unbelief and that this only comes through prayer and fasting.
This is the root of the problem for us as well. We want to experience the supernatural power of God and we want to see Him move in our lives, but like the disciples we suffer from unbelief and a lack of prayer and fasting.
Prayer connects us to God and fasting disconnects us from the world.
When we come into alignment with God we begin to see His perfect will done in our lives as it is already done in Heaven.
We need to be AWAKENED to the fact that we have all the power that we need in Jesus Christ and through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
The power that is in us through the Holy Spirit is the same Resurrection Power that we looked at last week…it is the same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead. This prepares us to walk in our ASSIGNMENT.

Jesus was led by the Spirit so He could be filled with the POWER of the Spirit to fulfill His ASSIGNMENT.
There are many of us who were once FILLED or BAPTIZED with the power of the Holy Spirit, but we are not walking in the POWER of the Spirit in our lives and in our ASSIGNMENT that God has for us.
The purpose and power of the Holy Spirit is so that we can be AWAKENED to what God wants to do and so that we can finish our ASSIGNMENT. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit and His power are to get us to carry out our ASSIGNMENT.
We are not here on earth to simply exist…we were sent here by God on ASSIGNMENT.
