In the ME marriage the perfect spouse is someone who affirms me and does not change me. They meet my entire social, romantic, emotional, physical, and sexual needs.
The ME marriage defies the designer’s instruction and will lead to dysfunction and pain.

The greatest enemy of a healthy and joy filled marriage is selfishness.
Ephesians 5:21 ESV
If selflessness is unnatural, you need supernatural power to over come it.
Love is an action that leads to affection, and the more affection you feel, the more of a joy it will be to serve.
The problem is, in marriage, when we don't feel affection we withdraw from action.
