Some questions to ask:
- Do they believe that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Do they believe that Jesus was a human being in the flesh?
- Do they believe that Jesus was born of a virgin?
- Do they believe that Jesus lived as a man and was tempted in every way, and yet did not sin?
- Do they believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven?
- Do they believe that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Do they believe that Jesus was a human being in the flesh?
- Do they believe that Jesus was born of a virgin?
- Do they believe that Jesus lived as a man and was tempted in every way, and yet did not sin?
- Do they believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven?
- If the answer to any of these questions is "No," then they are false teachers, or "antichrists."
3. Trust in the Holy Spirit Who Lives in You
- The Holy Spirit enables believers to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit.
- All true believers have the power of discernment at their disposal because the Holy Spirit that lives in them is greater than he that is in the world.
4. Take into Account Who Agrees with You
- We must be willing to stand up against the world's logic and reasoning.
- We must make certain that what we are standing for is of God!
