I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. The third day he rose again from the dead.

He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen

Was Jesus Christ merely a great man worthy of our respect and emulation or is He the Son of God, our Lord, worthy of our worship?

4) Filled with the Holy Spirit from the womb (1:15)

5) Prepare the way for the Coming One (1:17)

3) Absolutely unique birth…no other account in Scripture like this.

4) Literally conceived by the activity of the Holy Spirit (1:35-37)

5) Is the Coming One who will reign forever. (1:33)
