YOUTH SPAGHETTI LUNCH
Thanks to all who were able to stay and support Emerge Youth as they continued to raise money to attend the upcoming Convention. We were able to raise $285. If you would like to contribute to this fund, please see Pastor Jeff, Jeff Stough or Brad Caldwell. Thanks again for your support.
YOUTH FUNDRAISER @ HOSS’S
Hoss’s has arranged for Emerge Youth to benefit from our participation in their fund-raising efforts. If we go to Hoss’s on Sunday, March 5 right after the service, we can receive 20% of the total amount spent if that amount is over $300. We can receive 25% if that amount is over $1200. You must take the upcoming insert with you and give it to them when you order.

WOMEN OF PURPOSE SPRING TOUR
Ladies, mark your calendars now for the upcoming Spring Tours. The tour will be in our location at Christian Life A/G on Saturday, April 29. Cost per person is $30: Students, Single moms and Seniors cost is $20. It includes a boxed lunch. See the sign up sheet for the breakout groups.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
We are beginning to plan for our yearly VBS. Our first meeting will be Mon. Feb. 27. If you are able to be a part of this, please sign up in the lower foyer. Thank you in advance for your help!

It has been a few years since our last directory and we are in the initial planning stages for a new one. If you would like to help with this planning, put your name and “directory” on the blue card in the pew rack and place in the offering plate and we will contact you.

A perfect church or a dream church would be one where everyone is actively accomplishing God’s plan for the lives and their ministries.
Last week, Keith talked about connection...
People need to feel connected to something--to feel a part of something bigger than themselves.
People need to feel connected to something--to feel a part of something bigger than themselves.
Do we as a church provide the opportunity for individual and corporate spiritual growth? Are we as church members taking every opportunity that is available to grow in our knowledge of Christ?
We are not called to make converts, but disciples.
The word disciple means “a learner” it literally means “thought followed by endeavor”.
To learn and then to do what you have learned.

If we only take in and don’t give out what we have learned, we are cheating those who could benefit from our life experience and knowledge.
The difference between last week, connect and this week Grow, is this.
Connect is about relationships. Having relationships is vital to keeping people connected to God and fellowship with the local church.
Grow is about belief and behavior. If you have connections and relationships but you have no growth, then you are only partially blessed.

We have CONNECTION to friends & family, we have GROWTH in our spiritual walk, now let’s look at SERVE.
If you have a gift or ability and you are not using it to help others, you are not doing your job.
We are not to come to God’s house to be entertained. We are all called to serve in some capacity.

We will never hear a word from the Lord if someone isn’t obedient to speak it.
However, if we all are obedient to our calling and ministry, God does show up.
God shows up if we are faithful to serve.
We as a church want to give everyone an opportunity to use their gifts and talents to serve in an area of ministry.

The enemy tries his best to stop what God is doing, but the more we press in, the more God's work will ultimately be accomplished.
