Contentment:
I have more than enough strength for the current situation, peaceful/happy, I don’t need aid or support.
Question:
How content are you?
Main Point:
Contentment is being confident that…
Jesus is enough.
1. When you’re in pain.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “…. God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

2. When you’re confused.
Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

3. When you’re scared.
Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

4. When you’re heart is broken.
Psalm 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

5. When you’re stressed.
1 Peter 5:7 “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you”...

6. When you are weak.
Isaiah 40:29 “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

7. When you are hungry.
Philippians 4:19 “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

8. When you are tired.
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

9. When you are lonely.
2 Corinthians 6:18 “And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”
Question:
What (or who) are you depending on for help?

Giving at The Vineyard

We don't pass a plate for tithes and offerings here at Vineyard, but we do believe that giving back through our finances is an important way to worship Jesus.
