Jesus tells us to pray for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. But what is God’s will? What does it look like for Kingdom to come? And why does Jesus tell us to pray for this? In this message, we continue our study of the Lord’s Prayer.
Matthew 6:11-12 ESV
We offer forgiveness because we have received forgiveness.
1) Resisting revenge
2) Not returning evil for evil
3) Wishing them well
4) Grieving at their calamities
5) Praying for their welfare
6) Seeking reconciliation so far as it depends on you
7) Coming to their aid in distress
Forgiveness is a choice, but it is not optional.
Asking for daily bread is choosing to trust and trust is the antidote to worry.
