Strength for Tomorrow

DAY 30 OF 30

Day 30: You – Living in Christ’s Strength

Scripture: Matthew 11:28-30, Philippians 4:10-14
Key Verse:
“I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13

Life is exhausting. The weight of responsibilities, struggles, and disappointments can wear us down. Sometimes, we feel we must muster our strength just to keep going. But Jesus offers us something different: His strength.

In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus gives an invitation: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” The world tells us to push harder, do more, and rely on ourselves. But Jesus tells us to take His yoke, to learn from Him, and to find proper rest. His strength isn’t about striving; it’s about surrender.

Paul echoes this in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” The secret to enduring life’s challenges isn’t in our abilities but in Christ’s power working in us. When we live in His strength, we can face trials, serve others, and endure hardships, not because we are strong but because He is.

You don’t have to carry the weight of life alone. Jesus invites you to trade your burdens for His peace and your weakness for His strength. When you walk in His power, you’ll find His grace is always enough.

Prayer Focus: Ask Jesus to help you rely on His strength instead of your own, trusting that He will carry you through whatever you face.

About this Plan

Strength for Tomorrow

Jesus told us that our weariness comes from carrying a burden that is too heavy for us. Instead, we are supposed to give our problems, cares, and concerns to Him and allow Him to give us the strength to do what He asks. He will teach us to do this over the next 30 days because He is humble and gentle at heart. God's word will show us examples of people throughout scripture who put their burdens in His hands and found rest for their souls.
