Day Six
If you have ever driven a vehicle without power steering, you will know how difficult it can be to turn the steering wheel. It can be so hard to turn that driving becomes a chore, and it’s exhausting. So it is, with Christian life without resurrection power.
God intended you to be power-assisted! He desires that you would be empowered by and through baptism in the Holy Spirit. How can Jesus say, "my yoke is easy and my burden is light"? (Matthew 11:30) Because when we receive the infilling of The Holy Spirit, everything changes! It’s not that there are no more difficulties or trials, but the power of God’s Spirit in us sustains us through. (Romans 15:13)
Today, ask God for a fresh infilling of His Holy Spirit. All those in the upper room received it, and so will you! (Acts 2)
