Day 3: I Am a Love Song!

The Eternal your God is standing right here among you, and He is the champion who will rescue you.

He will joyfully celebrate over you; He will rest in His love for you;

He will joyfully sing because of you like a new husband.

Music is the soundtrack to our lives. Music is so influential and is like a virus that is highly infectious. Whether it is the catchy lyrics or the banging beat, music captivates our minds, bodies, and souls. On this third day, I want to take this time to not only celebrate you but serenade you with a song. The artist who is here to perform is well-renowned gospel extraordinaire…Jesus!

I know you all are reading this like “Huh?” But yes, Jesus is my favorite artist right now. Do you want to know why? Because Jesus is singing in heaven about me. When I read this verse, I said, “ME! He is singing about me!” In the Voice translation, it says, “He will joyfully sing because of you like a new husband.” I think every girl’s dream is to be serenaded by her man. I know mine is because my husband can actually sing.

As broken and lost as I was, I read that verse believing if no one was celebrating or praising me in the natural, I could know someone was praising me in the supernatural. Reading this verse gave me the confidence to move past my discretions because someone was cheering for me to succeed and was also going to help me reclaim my time! Seeing those words resonated in my spirit that there was somebody who loved me more than I loved myself, and I was curious to see why He loved me the way He did. I encourage you to love yourself because you have a fan singing your name from above.

Father God, thank you for serenading me with your Word! Thank you for singing your praise when I couldn’t sing it for myself. I want to sing your name all the days of my life. I will always and forever be your number one fan.
