Psalms 78:6
Psalms 78:5-8 The Message (MSG)
He planted a witness in Jacob, set his Word firmly in Israel, Then commanded our parents to teach it to their children So the next generation would know, and all the generations to come— Know the truth and tell the stories so their children can trust in God, Never forget the works of God but keep his commands to the letter. Heaven forbid they should be like their parents, bullheaded and bad, A fickle and faithless bunch who never stayed true to God.
Psalms 78:6 King James Version (KJV)
That the generation to come might know them, Even the children which should be born; Who should arise And declare them to their children
Psalms 78:6 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, That they may arise and tell them to their children
Psalms 78:6 New Century Version (NCV)
Then their children would know them, even their children not yet born. And they would tell their children.
Psalms 78:6 American Standard Version (ASV)
That the generation to come might know them, even the children that should be born; Who should arise and tell them to their children
Psalms 78:6 New International Version (NIV)
so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.
Psalms 78:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born, That they may arise and declare them to their children
Psalms 78:6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
That the generation to come might know them, that the children still to be born May arise and recount them to their children
