Psalms 139:11
Psalms 139:7-12 The Message (MSG)
Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit? to be out of your sight? If I climb to the sky, you’re there! If I go underground, you’re there! If I flew on morning’s wings to the far western horizon, You’d find me in a minute— you’re already there waiting! Then I said to myself, “Oh, he even sees me in the dark! At night I’m immersed in the light!” It’s a fact: darkness isn’t dark to you; night and day, darkness and light, they’re all the same to you.
Psalms 139:11 King James Version (KJV)
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; Even the night shall be light about me.
Psalms 139:11 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, And the light around me will be night,”
Psalms 139:11 New Century Version (NCV)
I could say, “The darkness will hide me. Let the light around me turn into night.”
Psalms 139:11 American Standard Version (ASV)
If I say, Surely the darkness shall overwhelm me, And the light about me shall be night
Psalms 139:11 New International Version (NIV)
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,”
Psalms 139:11 New King James Version (NKJV)
If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,” Even the night shall be light about me
Psalms 139:11 Amplified Bible (AMP)
If I say, “Surely the darkness will cover me, And the night will be the only light around me,”
Psalms 139:11 New Living Translation (NLT)
I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night
