Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The LORD’s right hand has done mighty things! The LORD’s right hand is lifted high; the LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!” I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done. The LORD has chastened me severely, but he has not given me over to death. Open for me the gates of the righteous; I will enter and give thanks to the LORD. This is the gate of the LORD through which the righteous may enter. I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.

Glad songs of salvation are in the tents of the righteous: “The right hand of the LORD does valiantly, the right hand of the LORD exalts, the right hand of the LORD does valiantly!” I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the LORD. The LORD has disciplined me severely, but he has not given me over to death. Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the LORD. This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter through it. I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation.

Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly. The strong right arm of the LORD has done glorious things! The strong right arm of the LORD is raised in triumph. The strong right arm of the LORD has done glorious things! I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the LORD has done. The LORD has punished me severely, but he did not let me die. Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the LORD. These gates lead to the presence of the LORD, and the godly enter there. I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory!

I lived! And now I’m telling the world what GOD did. GOD tested me, he pushed me hard, but he didn’t hand me over to Death. Swing wide the city gates—the righteous gates! I’ll walk right through and thank GOD! This Temple Gate belongs to GOD, so the victors can enter and praise. Thank you for responding to me; you’ve truly become my salvation! The stone the masons discarded as flawed is now the capstone! This is GOD’s work. We rub our eyes—we can hardly believe it! This is the very day GOD acted— let’s celebrate and be festive! Salvation now, GOD. Salvation now! Oh yes, GOD—a free and full life!

The LORD has disciplined me severely, But He has not turned me over to death. ¶Open the gates of righteousness to me; I will enter through them, I will give thanks to the LORD. This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter through it. I will give thanks to You, for You have answered me, And You have become my salvation.

This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter through it. [Ps 24:7] I will give thanks to You, for You have heard and answered me; And You have become my salvation [my Rescuer, my Savior].

They celebrate deliverance in the tents of the godly. The LORD’s right hand conquers, the LORD’s right hand gives victory, the LORD’s right hand conquers. I will not die, but live, and I will proclaim what the LORD has done. The LORD severely punished me, but he did not hand me over to death. Open for me the gates of the just king’s temple! I will enter through them and give thanks to the LORD. This is the LORD’s gate – the godly enter through it. I will give you thanks, for you answered me, and have become my deliverer.
