1 Corinthians 11:32
1 Corinthians 11:32 New Living Translation (NLT)
Yet when we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned along with the world.
1 Corinthians 11:29-32 The Message (MSG)
If you give no thought (or worse, don’t care) about the broken body of the Master when you eat and drink, you’re running the risk of serious consequences. That’s why so many of you even now are listless and sick, and others have gone to an early grave. If we get this straight now, we won’t have to be straightened out later on. Better to be confronted by the Master now than to face a fiery confrontation later.
1 Corinthians 11:32 King James Version (KJV)
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
1 Corinthians 11:32 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.
1 Corinthians 11:32 New Century Version (NCV)
But when the Lord judges us, he disciplines us so that we will not be destroyed along with the world.
1 Corinthians 11:32 American Standard Version (ASV)
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
1 Corinthians 11:32 New International Version (NIV)
Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.
1 Corinthians 11:32 New King James Version (NKJV)
But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
1 Corinthians 11:32 Amplified Bible (AMP)
But when we [fall short and] are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined [by undergoing His correction] so that we will not be condemned [to eternal punishment] along with the world.
