The Beast Who Came Out of the Earth and the Stone

John also saw another beast come out of the earth. She had two horns like a lamb, but she spoke like a dragon. The first four animals and the first beast had come out of the sea, this one came out of the earth. In another vision the earth had protected the Woman, who represents the saints, but now from her arises this power that allies itself with the previous one to persecute them. However, in his dream Nebuchadnezzar also saw a stone that came loose without the aid of hands and struck the statue in the feet; then the iron, clay, bronze, silver, and gold were shattered and turned to dust, but the stone became a mountain and filled the whole Earth. Daniel said that this stone represents the kingdom that God is going to establish and that it will last forever.
