Plain Truth: Covenant is not primarily for knowledge of Jesus but to know Jesus.

Jesus affirms three components of Covenant:

1) Confession is essential: Upon this confession of faith…each person being a rock of faith. People are inspired by our words, our faith.

2) Belonging is essential: Upon this body of believers, I will build my church.

Here is what we know: “If you expect nothing from those who join the church then those who join get absolutely nothing. The community gets nothing. The lost, the hurting, and those in need get nothing. Expecting nothing from those who join means everybody loses!
