Hope for Your FinancesSample
So far we have covered the importance of trusting in God’s plan, His ability to provide, as well as the longer-term perspective.
But the fact remains that we have a part to play in our financial well-being.
Now, surely things can (and often do) happen that are outside of our control, but our job is to do what we can do and let God take care of the rest.
One of the best ways to secure that better financial future is by being wise with how we manage our money. And typically this starts with being mindful of how we spend and save.
You know, like maybe even creating a budget that works for us and sticking to it. Maybe, for some people, it's about being able to tell the difference between our wants and our needs.
Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty." So let's make a plan, and let's be diligent in sticking to it.
It's important to remember that this isn’t about being cheap or never treating ourselves. It's about finding balance and making smart choices. It's about understanding that our financial decisions today will have an impact on our future.
The Bible has so much to say about wise financial management, so be sure to check out some of our other Bible plans for more on that.
But don’t forget, it isn’t about being perfect financially, but rather just taking simple steps doing your part and allowing God to do His!
