6 Cues to Find Your CallingSample

6 Cues to Find Your Calling

DAY 7 OF 7

Think back to what you’ve been through and meditate on it.

Many times, God will use those past experiences to fuel our calling. God can use your mess and turn it into a message.

Moses escaped from Egypt and God used him to set free the people out of Egypt.

Our life experiences are not just for ourselves, but also for our ministry. Nothing is wasted, your pain is not wasted, and your past is not wasted. God takes what the devil meant for evil, and He uses it for good. He recycles our mess and uses it to enhance His purpose.

Things we are called out of can become the breeding ground for where God is taking us.

For example, I have someone on my team, Everett Roeth; God rescued him from the New Age movement. Now, Everett has a YouTube channel dedicated to reaching New Agers. Where God delivered him from is now his platform to preach the Gospel. Like him, God has delivered many, and that can become the very thing the Lord uses them in.

In many cases, your experiences become the very things that God will use to launch you into the ministry.

In conclusion, I want to remind you that everyone’s process to discovering their calling is different. If men do not recognize your gifts yet, it does not mean you are not gifted. God is taking you through a process.

God wants to mold you, invest in you, and prepare you to be humble and obedient to your leaders and to Him, so He can trust you. Lastly, I advise you to never fall in love with your calling.

Do not love your calling more than the One who called you; fall in love with God.

Today’s Prayer:

God, I am grateful for the life that You have given me. You are my redeemer and I pray that my personal experiences lead me to aid others in their walk with Jesus. I trust in Your calling and in Your timing for my life. I am Yours to use as You please, in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

Day 6

About this Plan

6 Cues to Find Your Calling

People often ask, "How do I know what I am called to do?" With this plan, I want to explain how there is a general will of God for every Christian, and this general will of God involves: following Jesus, forsaking sin, and winning souls. However, as you continue partaking in God's general will for your life as a believer, His specific will for you begins to be uncovered.
