When I Am AfraidSample
Bow To Him.
David declares in Psalms 18:34 KJV, “He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.” Let His Word train you. Let His Word develop you. Let His Word build you. Let the Word of God sharpen you. Study His Word daily — so that when the enemy comes to attack, you can break his plan with the Word that’s in you. Bow to God. Bow to His Word. Let His Word saturate and penetrate your heart. Treasure and value His Word. Get His Word in you. “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalms 119:11 KJV
Choose to bow to His Word. Choose to bow to His Ways. Choose to bow to Him. Who are you bowing to? Are you bowing and bending to fear? Or are you bowing to The True and Living God? Let His Love guide your footsteps. Let His Power lead your feet. Let His Peace cover your lips. Choose to speak Peace over fear. Choose to speak faith over fear. Choose to speak His Word over your fear. Don’t let your fears drown you. Don’t let fear grip you. Don’t let fear cause you to sink.
Choose to trust God, He will not let you drown. When the wind and waves try to sink your boat, choose to focus on God. Let God navigate your ship. David declares, in Psalm 23:4 AMPC, “Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.” God is with you. Don’t let dread overtake you. Let His Word guide you through the pit. Let His Word guide you through the valley. Go through the valley.
