God is our Creator and He created everything good

God the Father is our generous Provider

God is the ultimate giver: He gave us His best in Christ

Through Christ, we can be content in every circumstance
Philippians 4:11-13; 1 Timothy 6:6-10
God is the Owner of everything; we are His stewards
Genesis 2:15; 1 Chronicles 29:14; Psalms 115:16; Luke 16:1-13
The first-fruits and the tithe (a tenth) belong to the Lord
Genesis 4:3-4, 14:20, 28:22; Exodus 13:2, 23:19; Leviticus 27:30; Proverbs 3:9-10; Hebrews 7:4-10
As we first bring the tithe into the storehouse, the windows of heaven are opened, and the devourer is rebuked

As NT believers we’re called to live grateful lives, imitating the generosity of Jesus

As we give generously, God is glorified, lives are transformed, and we get re-supplied

Generous giving helps breaks the grip of materialism
