Too much credit is given to Satan. He's a loser. But he does manage to get us to do things that separate us from God. It's called sin. It's time to stand up to sin and tell him NOT TODAY!!!!

Today we are going to look at saying not today Satan in regards to temptation.
Some of us are tempted to make bad decisions:
- Financially… get it and get it now on debt.
- Relationally…. Singles look past red flags to try to cure loneliness… Marrieds start flirting too much
- Online… We are tempted to make bad decisions with what we view.
- Food…. If you are like me, you are tempted to not care what you put in your body and your body pays for it.
- Spiritually… We are all tempted to drift from God and just go through the motions.
So, today and from this day forward, we want to tell Satan, who wants us to make terrible decisions, NOT TODAY SATAN.
BIG IDEA: WE MUST STOP IT BEFORE IT EVEN STARTS.
Satan tried to temp Jesus. But what is unique is not that Jesus was tempted but it is how Jesus dealt with temptation. He pretty much said, “Not Today Satan.” He stood up against temptation.
He STOPPED IT BEFORE IT EVER GOT STARTED.
The reason this is so critically important to us today is that we do have an enemy. That enemy wants us to sin.
God has designed a plan and a way for us to flourish. Satan has the counterfeit. He doesn’t want us flourishing.
The best way to fight temptation is to STOP IT BEFORE IT EVER STARTS. STOP THE CYCLE BEFORE IT EVER BEGINS.
LEARN TO FIGHT TEMPTATION WITH THE RIGHT STRATEGY.

Be In The Know
Ladies Disciple Group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6pm.
Jr Church theme for April is "Spiritual Growth". Jr Church meets every Sunday (except the 5th Sunday of any month) and is released after praise and worship singing.
Wednesday night bible studies are available for all ages. Adults meet in the fellowship hall, youth in the youth room, children in Jr Church room. All classes start at 6:30pm.
We are in need of energetic and dependable people, WHO LIKE KIDS, to volunteer once a month to work in the nursery. If this is your calling please let Celanie Haley or Cris Walters know.
Love Our Church (L.O.C.) Fund - These funds are used to assist church family with financial hardships. Please consider donating to the L.O.C. Fund.
A Prayer Wall is located in the hallway across from the fellowship hall. Please put any prayer requests or praises you have on the wall.

Fight Club (Men's Ministry) - Meeting at 5:30 a.m. Monday mornings in the welcome center. All men are invited. Too early? See Pastor Kolbi if you would like to begin meeting at an hour that works better.
Fight Club will be having a golf outing Saturday May 4th at 12:00pm at Elizabeth Manor Country Club. See Pastor Kolbi for details. Cost is $20.
If you are interested in being baptized, see Pastor Kolbi. Baptisms will be held May 19th if anyone is interested.
There will be a membership class on May 19th during the Sunday School hour. If you are interested in becoming a member of PFFC please see Pastor Kolbi.

ONE BIG THING
Mothers' Day is just around the corner. We will be having breakfast on Mothers' Day 8:30-10:15 for mom's and children of moms (notice no one is excluded?) No Sunday School that day. Special gift for all the ladies and there will be photo opportunities for moms and their crew.
