Jesus is the only one who can truly restore us to a right relationship with God and give us a new purpose after our failed attempts at living for greater purposes.

Jesus calls you to embrace FORGIVENESS. (vv. 15-17)
Forgiveness is the removal of guilt and being restored to relationship.

Anticipate Christ’s EMPOWERMENT, not His condemnation.
Jesus calls you to embrace SELFLESSNESS. (vv. 18-19)
Repentance is humbly admitting you were wrong and genuinely changing your behavior.
Live with COMMITMENT, not compromise.
Revisit your “first love” and “the things you did at first” (Revelation 2:5).
THIS WEEK I WILL:
• Return to my “First love” in Jesus Christ by revisiting some of the spiritual disciplines I have neglected (i.e. Bible read, journaling, praying, etc.)
• Ask God to forgive me for my sin and trust that He is faithful to do so
• Read Psalm 73 and regain my awe for God by identifying with the Psalmist.
