We want to help connect you with others at The River! Whether it's doing things with people who have similar interests and hobbies, joining a Bible study or Community Group, or serving, contact our Director of Connections and Small Groups at leslie@hittheriver.com for more information.

Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?

Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

We are looking to grow our groups. If you are interested in joining a new group in 2023 please contact Leslie Stone, our Director of Small Groups & Connections at leslie@hittheriver.com

Upcoming Events

July 9th - VBS Volunteer Meeting
If you have already signed up to volunteer at VBS then please mark your calendars for July 9. Immediately after the 11:00 service, we will be having our big VBS volunteers meeting. Lunch will be provided, as can childcare if needed. If you are in need of childcare for this meeting, please let me know ASAP by emailing taylor@hittheriver.com and letting me know how many children of yours need watched. Lunch will be provided for volunteers AND their children. Please make every effort to attend this meeting as crucial information will be shared to help us have the most effective, fun, and safe Vacation Bible School possible!

July 23rd - River Fest
We will be hosting a free event for the community on July 23rd at 6:00 p.m. We will have food, live music, games, inflatables, a game truck, face painting AND hot air balloon rides! This is a great opportunity for you to invite friends, co-workers and neighbors! For ways to get involved at River Fest, go to HitTheRiver.com/Events. July 29th - Men's Pancake Breakfast
All men (15 & up) of the River are invited to a Pancake Breakfast. Join us at 8:00 a.m. for a time of food, fellowship and special speakers. Pastor Brad Mitchell and Dr. Matt Stone will be leading this time together. This is a free event and a great opportunity to invite other men to join you! NEW AFFINITY GROUP - Garden and Landscaping
If you are interested in occasionally helping beautify the River flower and shrub beds this group is for you! We are looking for people interested in weeding, pruning and general light landscaping help a few times during Spring and Summer. We also are hoping to start a small community herb garden for members to enjoy! If you are interested in joining or have questions please contact Leslie@hittheriver.com.
