Psalms 110:1-4 Amplified Bible (AMP)
The LORD (Father) says to my Lord (the Messiah, His Son), “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet [subjugating them into complete submission].” [Josh 10:24; Matt 26:64; Acts 2:34; 1 Cor 15:25; Col 3:1; Heb 12:2] The LORD will send the scepter of Your strength from Zion, saying, “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.” [Rom 11:26, 27] Your people will offer themselves willingly [to participate in Your battle] in the day of Your power; In the splendor of holiness, from the womb of the dawn, Your young men are to You as the dew. ¶The LORD has sworn [an oath] and will not change His mind: “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.” [Heb 5:10; 7:11, 15, 21]
Psalms 110:1-7 The Message (MSG)
The word of GOD to my Lord: “Sit alongside me here on my throne until I make your enemies a stool for your feet.” You were forged a strong scepter by GOD of Zion; now rule, though surrounded by enemies! Your people will freely join you, resplendent in holy armor on the great day of your conquest, Join you at the fresh break of day, join you with all the vigor of youth. GOD gave his word and he won’t take it back: you’re the permanent priest, the Melchizedek priest. The Lord stands true at your side, crushing kings in his terrible wrath, Bringing judgment on the nations, handing out convictions wholesale, crushing opposition across the wide earth. The King-Maker put his King on the throne; the True King rules with head held high!

For he says to you, “Rule in the midst of your enemies!” Your people will be your love offerings. In the day of your mighty power you will be exalted, and in the brightness of your holy ones you will shine as an army arising from the womb of the dawn, anointed with the dew of your youth!
