Psalms 106:1-12
Psalms 106:1-12 King James Version (KJV)
Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: For his mercy endureth for ever. Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? Who can shew forth all his praise? Blessed are they that keep judgment, And he that doeth righteousness at all times. Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation; That I may see the good of thy chosen, That I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance. We have sinned with our fathers, We have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly. Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; They remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; But provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea. Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, That he might make his mighty power to be known. He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: So he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. And the waters covered their enemies: There was not one of them left. Then believed they his words; They sang his praise.
Psalms 106:1-12 The Message (MSG)
Hallelujah! Thank GOD! And why? Because he’s good, because his love lasts. But who on earth can do it— declaim GOD’s mighty acts, broadcast all his praises? You’re one happy man when you do what’s right, one happy woman when you form the habit of justice. Remember me, GOD, when you enjoy your people; include me when you save them; I want to see your chosen succeed, celebrate with your celebrating nation, join the Hallelujahs of your pride and joy! We’ve sinned a lot, both we and our parents; We’ve fallen short, hurt a lot of people. After our parents left Egypt, they took your wonders for granted, forgot your great and wonderful love. They were barely beyond the Red Sea when they defied the High God —the very place he saved them! —the place he revealed his amazing power! He rebuked the Red Sea so that it dried up on the spot —he paraded them right through! —no one so much as got wet feet! He saved them from a life of oppression, pried them loose from the grip of the enemy. Then the waters flowed back on their oppressors; there wasn’t a single survivor. Then they believed his words were true and broke out in songs of praise.
Psalms 106:1-12 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. Who can speak of the mighty deeds of the LORD, Or can show forth all His praise? How blessed are those who keep justice, Who practice righteousness at all times! Remember me, O LORD, in Your favor toward Your people; Visit me with Your salvation, That I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, That I may glory with Your inheritance. We have sinned like our fathers, We have committed iniquity, we have behaved wickedly. Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; They did not remember Your abundant kindnesses, But rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea. Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of His name, That He might make His power known. Thus He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up, And He led them through the deeps, as through the wilderness. So He saved them from the hand of the one who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. The waters covered their adversaries; Not one of them was left. Then they believed His words; They sang His praise.
Psalms 106:1-12 New Century Version (NCV)
Praise the LORD! Thank the LORD because he is good. His love continues forever. No one can tell all the mighty things the LORD has done; no one can speak all his praise. Happy are those who do right, who do what is fair at all times. LORD, remember me when you are kind to your people; help me when you save them. Let me see the good things you do for your chosen people. Let me be happy along with your happy nation; let me join your own people in praising you. We have sinned just as our ancestors did. We have done wrong; we have done evil. Our ancestors in Egypt did not learn from your miracles. They did not remember all your kindnesses, so they turned against you at the Red Sea. But the LORD saved them for his own sake, to show his great power. He commanded the Red Sea, and it dried up. He led them through the deep sea as if it were a desert. He saved them from those who hated them. He saved them from their enemies, and the water covered their foes. Not one of them escaped. Then the people believed what the LORD said, and they sang praises to him.

Praise ye Jehovah. Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever. Who can utter the mighty acts of Jehovah, Or show forth all his praise? Psalms 106:1-12 New International Version (Anglicised) (NIVUK)
Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures for ever. Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the LORD or fully declare his praise? Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right. Remember me, LORD, when you show favour to your people, come to my aid when you save them, that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may share in the joy of your nation and join your inheritance in giving praise. We have sinned, even as our ancestors did; we have done wrong and acted wickedly. When our ancestors were in Egypt, they gave no thought to your miracles; they did not remember your many kindnesses, and they rebelled by the sea, the Red Sea. Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, to make his mighty power known. He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; he led them through the depths as through a desert. He saved them from the hand of the foe; from the hand of the enemy he redeemed them. The waters covered their adversaries; not one of them survived. Then they believed his promises and sang his praise.
Psalms 106:1-12 New King James Version (NKJV)
Praise the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? Who can declare all His praise? Blessed are those who keep justice, And he who does righteousness at all times! Remember me, O LORD, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation, That I may see the benefit of Your chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, That I may glory with Your inheritance. We have sinned with our fathers, We have committed iniquity, We have done wickedly. Psalms 106:1-12 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!) Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever! [1 Chr 16:34] Who can put into words the mighty deeds of the LORD? Or who can proclaim all His praise [that is due Him]? Blessed are those who observe justice [by honoring God’s precepts], Who practice righteousness at all times. ¶Remember me, O LORD, when You favor Your people. Visit me with Your salvation [when You rescue them], That I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, That I may glory with Your inheritance. ¶We have sinned like our fathers; We have committed iniquity, we have behaved wickedly. [Lev 26:40-42] Our fathers in Egypt did not understand nor appreciate Your miracles; They did not remember the abundance of Your mercies nor imprint Your lovingkindnesses on their hearts, But they were rebellious at the sea, at the Red Sea. [Ex 14:21] Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, That He might make His [supreme] power known. He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; And He led them through the depths as through a pasture. [Ex 14:21] So He saved them from the hand of the one that hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the [Egyptian] enemy. [Ex 14:30] And the waters covered their adversaries; Not one of them was left. [Ex 14:27, 28; 15:5] Then Israel believed in [the validity of] His words; They sang His praise.
Psalms 106:1-12 New Living Translation (NLT)
Praise the LORD! Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Who can list the glorious miracles of the LORD? Who can ever praise him enough? There is joy for those who deal justly with others and always do what is right. Remember me, LORD, when you show favor to your people; come near and rescue me. Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones. Let me rejoice in the joy of your people; let me praise you with those who are your heritage. Like our ancestors, we have sinned. We have done wrong! We have acted wickedly! Our ancestors in Egypt were not impressed by the LORD’s miraculous deeds. They soon forgot his many acts of kindness to them. Instead, they rebelled against him at the Red Sea. Even so, he saved them— to defend the honor of his name and to demonstrate his mighty power. He commanded the Red Sea to dry up. He led Israel across the sea as if it were a desert. So he rescued them from their enemies and redeemed them from their foes. Then the water returned and covered their enemies; not one of them survived. Then his people believed his promises. Then they sang his praise.
Psalms 106:1-12 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Everyone thank God, for he is good and easy to please. Your tender love for us, Lord, continues on forever. Who could ever fully describe your glorious miracles? YAHWEH, who could ever praise you enough? The happiest one on earth is the one who keeps your word and clings to righteousness every moment. So remember me, Lord, as you take joy in your people. And when you come to bring the blessings of salvation, don’t forget me! Let me share in the wealth and beauty of all your devoted lovers, rejoice with your nation in all their joys, and let me share in the glory you give to your chosen ones. We have all sinned so much, just like our fathers. “Guilty” is written over our lives. Our fathers who were delivered from Egypt didn’t fully understand your wonders, and they took you for granted. Over and over you showed them such tender love and mercy! Yet they were barely beyond the Red Sea when they rebelled against you. Nonetheless, you saved them more than once so they would know how powerful you are, showing them the honor of your name. You roared over the waters of the Red Sea, making a dry path for your people to cross through. You freed them from the strong power of those who oppressed them and rescued them from bondage. Then the waters rushed over their enemies and drowned them all— not one survived. Seeing this, the people believed your words, and they all broke out with songs of praise!

Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Who can utter the mighty deeds of the LORD, or declare all his praise? Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times! Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people; help me when you save them, that I may look upon the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance. Both we and our fathers have sinned; we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness. Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.
