Der zweite Engel stieß in die Posaune. Da ward eine Masse, die aussah wie ein großer, feuerflammender Berg, ins Meer geschleudert. Dadurch ward der dritte Teil des Meeres in Blut verwandelt

Offenbarung 8:10-11
Der dritte Engel stieß in die Posaune. Da fiel ein großer Stern vom Himmel, brennend wie eine Fackel. Der fiel auf den dritten Teil der Ströme und auf die Wasserquellen; und des Sternes Name heißt "Wermut". Da ward der dritte Teil der Wasser zu Wermut, und viele Menschen starben von den Wassern, weil sie bitter geworden waren.

Der vierte Engel stieß in die Posaune. Da ward geschlagen der dritte Teil der Sonne, der dritte Teil des Mondes und der dritte Teil der Sterne, so daß ihr dritter Teil verfinstert wurde. Darum hatte nun der dritte Teil des Tages und ebenso der Nacht kein Licht.
