Mathew 6:16-18 beibl.net 2015, 2024 (BNET)
“Pan fyddwch chi’n ymprydio, peidiwch gwneud i’ch hunain edrych yn drist er mwyn gwneud sioe; mae’r bobl sy’n gwneud hynny yn cuddio’u hwynebau er mwyn i bobl sylwi eu bod yn ymprydio. Credwch chi fi, dyna’r unig wobr gân nhw! Pan fyddi di’n ymprydio, rho olew ar dy ben, criba dy wallt a golcha dy wyneb. Wedyn fydd neb yn gallu gweld dy fod ti’n ymprydio. Dim ond dy Dad, sy’n anweledig, fydd yn gweld; a bydd dy Dad, sy’n gweld pob cyfrinach, yn rhoi dy wobr i ti.
Mathew 6:16-18 Beibl Cymraeg Newydd Diwygiedig 2004 (BCND)
“A phan fyddwch yn ymprydio, peidiwch â bod yn wynepdrist fel y rhagrithwyr; y maent hwy'n anffurfio eu hwynebau er mwyn i eraill gael gweld eu bod yn ymprydio. Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych, y mae eu gwobr ganddynt eisoes. Ond pan fyddi di'n ymprydio, eneinia dy ben a golch dy wyneb, fel nad pobl a gaiff weld dy fod yn ymprydio, ond yn hytrach dy Dad sydd yn y dirgel; a bydd dy Dad, sydd yn gweld yn y dirgel, yn dy wobrwyo.
Mathew 6:16-18 Beibl William Morgan - Argraffiad 1955 (BWM)
Hefyd, pan ymprydioch, na fyddwch fel y rhagrithwyr, yn wyneptrist: canys anffurfio eu hwynebau y maent, fel yr ymddangosont i ddynion eu bod yn ymprydio. Yn wir meddaf i chwi, Y maent yn derbyn eu gwobr. Eithr pan ymprydiech di, eneinia dy ben, a golch dy wyneb; Fel nad ymddangosech i ddynion dy fod yn ymprydio, ond i’th Dad yr hwn sydd yn y dirgel: a’th Dad yr hwn sydd yn gweled yn y dirgel, a dâl i ti yn yr amlwg.
