Hebreaid 8:8-13
Hebreaid 8:8-13 Beibl Cymraeg Newydd Diwygiedig 2004 (BCND)
Oblegid y mae Duw'n eu beio pan yw'n dweud: “Y mae'r dyddiau'n dod, medd yr Arglwydd, y gwnaf gyfamod newydd â thŷ Israel ac â thŷ Jwda; ni fydd yn debyg i'r cyfamod a wneuthum â'u hynafiaid, y dydd y gafaelais yn eu llaw i'w harwain allan o wlad yr Aifft, oherwydd nid arosasant hwy yn fy nghyfamod i. A minnau, fe'u diystyrais hwy, medd yr Arglwydd. Dyma'r cyfamod a wnaf â thŷ Israel ar ôl y dyddiau hynny, medd yr Arglwydd: rhof fy nghyfreithiau yn eu meddwl, ac ysgrifennaf hwy ar eu calon. A byddaf yn Dduw iddynt, a hwythau'n bobl i mi. Ac ni fyddant mwyach yn dysgu bob un ei gyd-ddinesydd a phob un ei gilydd, gan ddweud, ‘Adnebydd yr Arglwydd.’ Oblegid byddant i gyd yn f'adnabod, o'r lleiaf hyd y mwyaf ohonynt. Oherwydd byddaf yn drugarog wrth eu camweddau, ac ni chofiaf eu pechodau byth mwy.” Wrth ddweud “cyfamod newydd”, y mae wedi dyfarnu'r cyntaf yn hen; ac y mae'r hyn sy'n mynd yn hen ac oedrannus ar fin diflannu.

Ond roedd bai ar y bobl yng ngolwg Duw, a dyna pam ddwedodd e: “‘Mae’r amser yn dod,’ meddai’r Arglwydd, ‘pan fydda i’n gwneud ymrwymiad newydd gyda phobl Israel a Jwda.’ ‘Fydd hwn ddim yr un fath â’r un wnes i gyda’u hynafiaid (pan afaelais yn eu llaw a’u harwain allan o’r Aifft). Wnaethon nhw ddim cadw eu hochr nhw o’r cytundeb, felly dyma fi’n troi fy nghefn arnyn nhw,’ meddai’r Arglwydd. ‘Dyma’r ymrwymiad fydda i’n ei wneud gyda phobl Israel bryd hynny,’ meddai’r Arglwydd: ‘Bydd fy neddfau’n glir yn eu meddyliau ac wedi’u hysgrifennu ar eu calonnau. Fi fydd eu Duw nhw, a nhw fydd fy mhobl i. Fyddan nhw ddim yn gorfod dysgu pobl eraill, a dweud wrth ei gilydd, “Rhaid i ti ddod i nabod yr Arglwydd,” achos bydd pawb yn fy nabod i, o’r lleia i’r mwya. Bydda i’n maddau iddyn nhw am y pethau wnaethon nhw o’i le, ac yn anghofio’u pechodau am byth.’” Drwy ddefnyddio’r gair ‘newydd’ i ddisgrifio’r ymrwymiad yma, mae Duw’n dweud fod y llall yn hen. Os ydy rhywbeth yn hen ac yn perthyn i’r oes o’r blaen, yn fuan iawn mae’n mynd i ddiflannu’n llwyr!
Hebreaid 8:8-13 Beibl William Morgan - Argraffiad 1955 (BWM)
Canys yn beio arnynt hwy y dywed efe, Wele, y mae’r dyddiau yn dyfod, medd yr Arglwydd, ac mi a wnaf â thŷ Israel ac â thŷ Jwda gyfamod newydd: Nid fel y cyfamod a wneuthum â’u tadau hwynt, yn y dydd yr ymeflais yn eu llaw hwynt i’w dwyn hwy o dir yr Aifft: oblegid ni thrigasant hwy yn fy nghyfamod i, minnau a’u hesgeulusais hwythau, medd yr Arglwydd. Oblegid hwn yw’r cyfamod a amodaf fi â thŷ Israel ar ôl y dyddiau hynny, medd yr Arglwydd; Myfi a ddodaf fy nghyfreithiau yn eu meddwl, ac yn eu calonnau yr ysgrifennaf hwynt: a mi a fyddaf iddynt hwy yn Dduw, a hwythau a fyddant i minnau yn bobl: Ac ni ddysgant bob un ei gymydog, a phob un ei frawd, gan ddywedyd, Adnebydd yr Arglwydd: oblegid hwynt-hwy oll a’m hadnabyddant i, o’r lleiaf ohonynt hyd y mwyaf ohonynt. Canys trugarog fyddaf wrth eu hanghyfiawnderau, a’u pechodau hwynt a’u hanwireddau ni chofiaf ddim ohonynt mwyach. Wrth ddywedyd, Cyfamod newydd, efe a farnodd y cyntaf yn hen. Eithr yr hwn a aeth yn hen ac yn oedrannus, sydd agos i ddiflannu.
