A pheth arall – nid angylion sydd wedi cael yr awdurdod i reoli’r byd sydd i ddod. Mae rhywun wedi dweud yn rhywle: “Beth ydy pobl i ti boeni amdanyn nhw? Pam ddylet ti ofalu am berson dynol? Rwyt wedi’i wneud am ychydig yn is na’r angylion; ond yna ei goroni ag ysblander ac anrhydedd a gosod popeth dan ei awdurdod.” Mae “popeth” yn golygu fod dim byd arall i Dduw ei osod dan ei awdurdod. Ond dŷn ni ddim yn gweld “popeth dan ei awdurdod” ar hyn o bryd. Ond dŷn ni’n gweld ei fod yn wir am Iesu! Am ychydig amser cafodd e hefyd ei wneud yn is na’r angylion, a hynny er mwyn iddo farw dros bawb. Ac mae Iesu wedi “Ei goroni ag ysblander ac anrhydedd” am ei fod wedi marw! Mae’n dangos mor hael ydy Duw, fod Iesu wedi marw dros bob un ohonon ni. Duw wnaeth greu popeth, a fe sy’n cynnal popeth, felly mae’n berffaith iawn iddo adael i lawer o feibion a merched rannu ei ysblander. Drwy i Iesu ddioddef, roedd Duw yn ei wneud e’n arweinydd perffaith i’w hachub nhw.

Oherwydd nid i angylion y darostyngodd ef y byd a ddaw, y byd yr ydym yn sôn amdano. Tystiolaethodd rhywun yn rhywle yn y geiriau hyn: “Beth yw dyn, iti ei gofio, a mab dyn, iti ofalu amdano? Gwnaethost ef am ryw ychydig yn is na'r angylion; coronaist ef â gogoniant ac anrhydedd. Darostyngaist bob peth dan ei draed ef.” Wrth ddarostwng pob peth iddo, ni adawodd ddim heb ei ddarostwng iddo. Ond yn awr nid ydym hyd yma yn gweld pob peth wedi ei ddarostwng iddo; eithr yr ydym yn gweld Iesu, yr un a wnaed am ryw ychydig yn is na'r angylion, wedi ei goroni â gogoniant ac anrhydedd oherwydd iddo ddioddef marwolaeth, er mwyn iddo, trwy ras Duw, brofi marwolaeth dros bob dyn. Oherwydd yr oedd yn gweddu i Dduw, yr hwn y mae popeth yn bod er ei fwyn a phopeth yn bod drwyddo, wrth ddwyn pobl lawer i ogoniant, wneud tywysog eu hiachawdwriaeth yn berffaith trwy ddioddefiadau.

Canys nid i’r angylion y darostyngodd efe y byd a ddaw, am yr hwn yr ydym yn llefaru. Eithr un mewn rhyw fan a dystiolaethodd, gan ddywedyd, Pa beth yw dyn, i ti i feddwl amdano? neu fab dyn, i ti i ymweled ag ef? Ti a’i gwnaethost ef ychydig is na’r angylion: â gogoniant ac anrhydedd y coronaist ti ef, ac a’i gosodaist ef ar weithredoedd dy ddwylo: Ti a ddarostyngaist bob peth dan ei draed ef. Canys wrth ddarostwng pob peth iddo, ni adawodd efe ddim heb ddarostwng iddo. Ond yr awron nid ydym ni eto yn gweled pob peth wedi eu darostwng iddo. Eithr yr ydym ni yn gweled Iesu, yr hwn a wnaed ychydig yn is na’r angylion, oherwydd dioddef marwolaeth, wedi ei goroni â gogoniant ac anrhydedd; fel trwy ras Duw y profai efe farwolaeth dros bob dyn. Canys gweddus oedd iddo ef, oherwydd yr hwn y mae pob peth, a thrwy yr hwn y mae pob peth, wedi iddo ddwyn meibion lawer i ogoniant, berffeithio Tywysog eu hiachawdwriaeth hwy trwy ddioddefiadau.
