Amos 8:11-14
Amos 8:11-14 Beibl Cymraeg Newydd Diwygiedig 2004 (BCND)
“Wele'r dyddiau yn dod,” medd yr Arglwydd DDUW, “pan anfonaf newyn i'r wlad; nid newyn am fara, na syched am ddŵr, ond am glywed geiriau'r ARGLWYDD. Crwydrant o fôr i fôr ac o'r gogledd i'r dwyrain; ânt yn ôl ac ymlaen i geisio gair yr ARGLWYDD, ond heb ei gael. “Yn y dydd hwnnw, bydd gwyryfon teg a gwŷr ifainc yn llewygu o syched. Y rhai sy'n tyngu i Asima Samaria, ac yn dweud, ‘Cyn wired â bod dy dduw yn fyw, Dan’, neu, ‘Cyn wired â bod dy dduw yn fyw, Beerseba’— fe syrthiant oll heb godi byth mwy.”

“Gwyliwch chi! mae’r amser yn dod” –fy Meistr, yr ARGLWYDD sy’n dweud hyn, “pan fydda i’n anfon newyn drwy’r wlad.” Dim newyn am fara neu syched am ddŵr, ond awydd gwirioneddol i glywed neges yr ARGLWYDD. Bydd pobl yn crwydro o Fôr y Canoldir yn y gorllewin i’r Môr Marw yn y de ac o’r gogledd i’r dwyrain, er mwyn cael clywed neges yr ARGLWYDD, ond byddan nhw’n methu. Bryd hynny, bydd merched ifanc hardd a dynion ifanc cryf yn llewygu am fod syched arnyn nhw – Y rhai sy’n tyngu llw i eilun cywilyddus Samaria, ac yn dweud, “Fel mae dy dduw di yn fyw, Dan!” neu “Fel mae’r un cryf sydd ynot ti yn fyw Beersheba!” – byddan nhw’n syrthio, a byth yn codi eto.
Amos 8:11-14 Beibl William Morgan - Argraffiad 1955 (BWM)
Wele, y mae y dyddiau yn dyfod, medd yr ARGLWYDD DDUW, yr anfonaf newyn i’r tir; nid newyn am fara, ac nid syched am ddwfr, ond am wrando geiriau yr ARGLWYDD. A hwy a grwydrant o fôr i fôr, ac a wibiant o’r gogledd hyd y dwyrain, i geisio gair yr ARGLWYDD, ac nis cânt. Y diwrnod hwnnw y gwyryfon glân a’r meibion ieuainc a ddiffoddant o syched. Y rhai a dyngant i bechod Samaria, ac a ddywedant, Byw yw dy dduw di, O Dan; a, Byw yw ffordd Beerseba; hwy a syrthiant, ac ni chodant mwy.
