Amos 5:7-13
Amos 5:7-13 Beibl Cymraeg Newydd Diwygiedig 2004 (BCND)
chwi sy'n troi barn yn wermod, ac yn taflu cyfiawnder i'r llawr. Ef a wnaeth Pleiades ac Orion; ef sy'n troi tywyllwch yn fore, ac yn tywyllu'r dydd yn nos. Ef sy'n galw ar ddyfroedd y môr, ac yn eu tywallt ar wyneb y tir; yr ARGLWYDD yw ei enw. Gwna i ddinistr fflachio ar y cryf, a daw distryw ar y gaer. Y maent yn casáu'r un a wna farn yn y porth, ac yn ffieiddio'r sawl a lefara'n onest. Felly, am ichwi sathru'r tlawd, a chymryd oddi arno ei gyfran gwenith— er ichwi godi tai o gerrig nadd, ni chewch fyw ynddynt; er ichwi blannu gwinllannoedd hyfryd, ni chewch yfed eu gwin. Canys gwn mor niferus yw'ch troseddau ac mor fawr yw'ch pechodau— chwi, sy'n gorthrymu'r cyfiawn, yn derbyn llwgrwobr, ac yn troi ymaith y tlawd yn y porth. Felly tawed y doeth ar y fath amser, canys amser drwg ydyw.

Druan ohonoch chi, sy’n troi cyfiawnder yn beth chwerw, ac yn gwrthod gwneud beth sy’n iawn yn y tir! Duw ydy’r un wnaeth y sêr – Pleiades ac Orïon. Fe sy’n troi’r tywyllwch yn fore, ac yn troi’r dydd yn nos dywyll. Mae e’n cymryd dŵr o’r môr ac yn ei arllwys yn gawodydd ar y tir –yr ARGLWYDD ydy ei enw e! Mae’n bwrw dinistr ar y mannau mwyaf diogel, nes bod caerau amddiffynnol yn troi’n adfeilion! Dych chi’n casáu’r un sy’n herio anghyfiawnder yn y llys; ac yn ffieiddio unrhyw un sy’n dweud y gwir. Felly, am i chi drethu pobl dlawd yn drwm a dwyn yr ŷd oddi arnyn nhw: Er eich bod chi wedi adeiladu’ch tai crand o gerrig nadd, gewch chi ddim byw ynddyn nhw. Er eich bod chi wedi plannu gwinllannoedd hyfryd, gewch chi byth yfed y gwin ohonyn nhw. Dych chi wedi troseddu yn fy erbyn i mor aml, ac wedi pechu’n ddiddiwedd drwy gam-drin pobl onest, a derbyn breib i wrthod cyfiawnder i bobl dlawd pan maen nhw yn y llys! Byddai unrhyw un call yn cadw’n dawel, achos mae’n amser drwg.
Amos 5:7-13 Beibl William Morgan - Argraffiad 1955 (BWM)
Y rhai a drowch farn yn wermod, ac a adewch gyfiawnder ar y llawr, Ceisiwch yr hwn a wnaeth y saith seren, ac Orion, ac a dry gysgod angau yn foreddydd, ac a dywylla y dydd yn nos; yr hwn a eilw ddyfroedd y môr, ac a’u tywallt ar wyneb y ddaear: Yr ARGLWYDD yw ei enw: Yr hwn sydd yn nerthu yr anrheithiedig yn erbyn y cryf, fel y delo yr anrheithiedig yn erbyn yr amddiffynfa. Cas ganddynt a geryddo yn y porth, a ffiaidd ganddynt a lefaro yn berffaith. Oherwydd hynny am i chwi sathru y tlawd, a dwyn y beichiau gwenith oddi arno; chwi a adeiladasoch dai o gerrig nadd, ond ni thrigwch ynddynt; planasoch winllannoedd hyfryd, ac nid yfwch eu gwin hwynt. Canys mi a adwaen eich anwireddau lawer, a’ch pechodau cryfion: y maent yn blino y cyfiawn, yn cymryd iawn, ac yn troi heibio y tlawd yn y porth. Am hynny y neb a fyddo gall a ostega yr amser hwnnw: canys amser drwg yw.
