Felly, pwy bynnag fydd yn bwyta'r bara neu'n yfed cwpan yr Arglwydd yn annheilwng, bydd yn euog o drosedd yn erbyn corff a gwaed yr Arglwydd. Bydded i bob un ei holi ei hunan, ac felly bwyta o'r bara ac yfed o'r cwpan. Oherwydd y mae'r sawl sydd yn bwyta ac yn yfed, os nad yw'n dirnad y corff, yn bwyta ac yn yfed barn arno'i hun. Dyna pam y mae llawer yn eich plith yn wan ac yn glaf, a chryn nifer wedi marw. Ond pe baem yn ein barnu ein hunain yn iawn, ni fyddem yn dod dan farn. Ond pan fernir ni gan yr Arglwydd, cael ein disgyblu yr ydym, rhag i ni gael ein condemnio gyda'r byd.

Felly, bydd pwy bynnag sy’n bwyta’r bara neu’n yfed o gwpan yr Arglwydd mewn ffordd sy’n anweddus yn cael ei gyfri’n euog o bechu yn erbyn corff a gwaed yr Arglwydd. Dyna pam mae’n bwysig edrych yn fanwl ar ein bywydau cyn bwyta’r bara ac yfed o’r cwpan. Mae pawb sy’n bwyta ac yfed heb gydnabod ein bod gyda’n gilydd yn ‘gorff yr Arglwydd’ yn bwyta ac yfed barn arnyn nhw eu hunain. Dyna pam mae cymaint ohonoch chi’n dioddef o wendid a salwch, a pham mae rhai hyd yn oed wedi marw. Petaen ni’n gwylio’n hymddygiad yn ofalus, fyddai dim rhaid i ni gael ein barnu. Ond hyd yn oed pan fyddwn yn cael ein barnu gan yr Arglwydd, ein disgyblu mae e’n ei wneud, dim ein condemnio gyda’r byd.

Am hynny, pwy bynnag a fwytao’r bara hwn, neu a yfo gwpan yr Arglwydd yn annheilwng, euog fydd o gorff a gwaed yr Arglwydd. Eithr holed dyn ef ei hun; ac felly bwytaed o’r bara, ac yfed o’r cwpan. Canys yr hwn sydd yn bwyta ac yn yfed yn annheilwng, sydd yn bwyta ac yn yfed barnedigaeth iddo ei hun, am nad yw yn iawn farnu corff yr Arglwydd. Oblegid hyn y mae llawer yn weiniaid ac yn llesg yn eich mysg, a llawer yn huno. Canys pe iawn farnem ni ein hunain, ni’n bernid. Eithr pan y’n bernir, y’n ceryddir gan yr Arglwydd, fel na’n damnier gyda’r byd.
