NT 260: Part Threeنموونە
This is known as the love chapter, and parts of it are often read at weddings. Paul is talking about the love Christians should have toward everyone, but that certainly includes husbands and wives. He is telling them even if a person has the special ability to speak in the language of heaven, but doesn’t have love, it’s of no value. The answer to all of the arguments over who is most important is for them to love each other.
Jesus said loving God and others are the two most important commands. Paul said loving others is more important than doing great things. If we just got love right, we would solve so many of our problems, and Christianity would be so much more attractive to everyone.
