The Footwashing Series: Easter Weekنموونە
Day 3: Jesus is arrested and dies
When she was an outcast at the well, He brought her in.
When his friends lowered him down through the roof, He healed him.
When his child died, He brought her back to life.
When she was tormented, He called her name and set her free.
When they had no food, He fed them all and sent them away with extra.
When he had already sold Him for 30 silver coins, He washed his feet anyway.
And this is how they repay Him.
This is how we repay Him.
This is how I repay Him.
Reflection Questions
- Jesus died to give everyone the chance for restoration of relationship with Him. Take a moment to pray for someone in your life you know, as well as a public figure you don't necessarily have a personal connection with, to encounter the reckless, unconditional, redeeming love of Jesus.
- Imagine how wildly different life would have been if Jesus stayed in the grave after we crucified Him. How did you meet Jesus for the first time? What would your life have been like if He wasn't in it?
- What has Jesus done for you in your life? What areas of your life has He restored or worked miracles in? Take a moment to sincerely thank Him with a grateful heart.
